Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy は肥満患者に提供される治療の一つです。これは食物摂取を制限することで体重減少を得ます。 
胃の約60%を切除し残胃の形はチューブまたは"そで"（sleeve）のようになります。

この手技は一般的にはスーパーobese患者のうち、後にさらなる手術を（例えばgastric bypass)考慮している時に適応されます。去年のNew Yorkでのカンファレンスでの合意以来、最初の手術として最適と考えられてます。
