在合作伙伴秀传纪念医院的大力支持下，今天5月26日IRCAD亚洲分部——台湾，一个全新落成、致力于微创外科研究和继续教育的培训中心将开幕。该中心将秉承Strasbourg本部IRCAD-EITS一贯严谨的科学态度和技术作风，在亚洲台湾继续发挥其作用和影响。
该中心装备了各种目前最新的教学设备，将成为亚洲最大的微创外科培训中心。
IRCAD亚洲分部——台湾有2大目标，它们是：
-提供高质量的微创外科和“无创”外科培训
-促进外科在计算机和机器人辅助领域的新发展 |
首次课程——腹腔镜普通外科手术的强化课程，将于2008年5月27-30日举办。除此之外，2008年IRCAD亚洲分部——台湾还将举办6次课程，内容包括结直肠外科、泌尿外科、妇科以及NOTES。
