New Partnership between WeBSurg and Covidien, formerly Tyco Healthcare

Covidien, a leading global provider of medical products, has entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement with IRCAD for WEBSURG. Covidien has more than 43,000 employees worldwide in 57 countries, and its products are sold in over 130 countries.

"IRCAD is very pleased with this agreement", said Jacques Marescaux, president of IRCAD.

"The synergy between the two parties is compelling and provides another avenue of partnership between physicians and industry for the benefit of patients. Since Covidien is a global enterprise, their support of this multi-language resource is very appropriate".
