DEAR_USER

Welcome to the WebSurg December 2018 Newsletter.

Following last month’s focus on robot-assisted colorectal surgery, we are releasing our monthly focus dedicated to laparoscopic vs. robot-assisted general surgery with a selection of interactive live standard and complex video case presentations authored by IRCAD experts, extracted from our latest IRCAD intensive courses in general surgery.

We are glad to release a special "HOW TO" aiming to provide a thorough technical description of a full uncut live laparoscopic cholecystectomy for cholelithiasis, demonstrating the critical view of safety (CVS) principle, authored by Professor Didier Mutter, MD, PhD, FACS.

The WebSurg Hall of Fame is up and running! Our call for videos featuring educational topics in the field of minimally invasive surgery is now open. This month, we are releasing video contributions in general surgery, including laparoscopic bile duct injury repair and robotic surgery for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Many thanks for your support and devotion. We hope that we are allowing you to make the best of your learning experience on WebSurg. We would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a very happy new year, from all of us at IRCAD-WebSurg.

Your feedback is always appreciated.

Please contact us here.
Yours faithfully,
