Welcome to the WebSurg July 2018 Newsletter.

This month get ready for a monthly focus dedicated to videosurgery in pediatric urology and visceral surgery. It includes lectures and videos by world-renowned experts, extracted from our latest IRCAD advanced course (March 15-17, 2018).

Some of these videos feature Visible Patient™, a spinoff of IRCAD, a computer program used to achieve a 3D reconstruction of patients using their CT-scan or MRI images. It is an excellent information and educational program (Professor François Becmeur, MD, PhD, IRCAD Pediatric Surgery Course Director), which contributes to a better understanding of patient anatomy and promotes a detailed and rigorous operative strategy.

We are happy to announce that this year's WebSurg Hall of Fame was won by Dr. Jia Lin Ng (MBBS, MMed Surg, FRCS Ed) and Dr. Shen-Ann Eugene Yeo (MBBS, MMed Surg, FRCS Ed) from Singapore General Hospital (Singapore) with their videos "Laparoscopic right hemicolectomy with complete mesocolic excision for advanced ascending colon cancer". All contributions sent from now on will be taken into account for the 2019 Hall Of Fame edition.

Every year, we take a month off in August. We will be back September with brand-new educational content. We would like to thank you again for your ongoing support. In the meantime, enjoy your summer vacations!
