TOPICS OF THE MONTH

VATS AND THORACOSCOPY

WeBSurg is proud to release a special topic dedicated to advanced thoracoscopic techniques.
These key contributions include lectures from the video-assisted and thoracoscopic procedures Advanced Course, which is held every year at IRCAD France.
Although thoracoscopic lobectomies are increasingly performed in specialized centers, it is still exciting to look at different techniques and approaches, as presented here by a group of doctors (Dr. Dunning, Dr. Baste, Dr. Decaluwe, and Dr. Gossot).
Lymph node dissection is also a major issue, and in his presentation, Dr. Amer demonstrates that thoracoscopy can be as efficient as thoracotomy, if not more.
We encourage all WeBSurg members to watch the amazing presentation by Dr. Becmeur about thoracoscopy in neonates and children.
