We are pleased to release our month's focus on TME for rectal cancer and more particularly on the combined/hybrid approach: transabdominal and transanal/perineal techniques with or without intersphincteric dissection. Combined transabdominal and transanal/perineal techniques have already been used since the last century. Recently, endoscopic transanal TaTME is gaining in popularity. We are pleased to release our month's focus that contains state-of-the-art key presentations on transanal anatomy and surgical techniques and four videos in which a combined approach is used.

Our topics of the month include a series of authoritative lectures focusing on microscopic and endoscopic approaches to the skull base, including skull base approaches in vascular neurosurgery.

We would also like to bring to your attention that we will schedule our second IRCAD LIVE WEBINAR during the ADVANCED MINIMALLY INVASIVE COLORECTAL SURGERY COURSE to be held at the IRCAD in Strasbourg, France, from May 19 to 21, 2016.
