DEAR_USER

A friendly welcome to our February 2016 Newsletter.

This month's focus is in continuity with our January 2016 issue dedicated to therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy. Indeed, this month, we will highlight resection techniques for neoplasia of the digestive tract, namely Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR). Screening programs, notably for colorectal and esophagogastric cancer allow for the diagnosis of lesions at a stage when they are amenable to endoluminal treatments. The ever-increasing experience of physicians and the ongoing technological advances have made it possible to definitely establish these techniques within the treatment algorithms for gastrointestinal neoplasia.
In this February issue, you will find lectures and videos delivered by international experts, which were recorded during Advanced Courses in Flexible and Interventional GI endoscopy held at IRCAD France in November and December 2015 respectively.

Intraluminal, percutaneous, image-guided surgery is also a major cornerstone in the therapeutic modalities of urological disorders.
This month's topics cover a brand-new field dedicated to endoscopic urology and renal lithiasis, focusing on percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and ureteroscopy.

Wrist arthroscopic surgery is yet another field which will be tackled this month. This surgical field is meeting with a growing success, as testified by the increasing number of participants in dedicated courses organized within the IRCAD network.

Stay tuned to WeBSurg to discover our next focus on hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgery as well as a brand-new state-of-the-art dedicated to the treatment of common bile duct stones.

We hope that this month's publication will help you extend your knowledge and enhance your expertise. We would be keen on receiving your feedback, which will surely be considered. Please contact us here.
