DEAR_USER

A beautiful welcome to our October 2015 Newsletter.

As video-assisted thoracic techniques are gaining an ever wider acceptance, WeBSurg is proud to release a special focus dedicated to many different aspects of VATS and thoracoscopy, ranging from technical tricks to equipment and advanced techniques.

Some of these key contributions include lectures from IRCAD France's video-assisted and thoracoscopic procedures advanced course which is now held every year. Other contributions include original videos dealing with segmentectomies, a promising breakthrough of advanced VATS resections, one of which was performed using a full thoracoscopic technique and another one using a robotic approach.

Do not miss the educational program to be held March 3-5, 2016, to keep abreast of the latest developments in this field.

This month's topics include pediatric surgery, with a focus on colorectal surgery in children, skull base surgery, and arthroscopic surgery.

Stay tuned to WeBSurg to discover our next focus on esophagogastric surgery.

Please note that the Russian version of WeBSurg is now available. Our thanks go to Medicine Today for their partnership.

We hope that this month's publication will help you extend your knowledge and enhance your expertise. We would be keen on receiving your feedback, which will surely be considered. Please contact us here.
