This month, Professor Jacques MARESCAUX, official representatives of partner companies (Medtronic, Intuitive Surgical) and local authorities inaugurated the IRCAD 2 facilities, which are the new extension to the IRCAD Institute within the compounds of the University Hospital of Strasbourg. The objective was to give surgeons the opportunity to train using new robotically assisted surgical technologies and enhance their skills within a brand-new experimental laboratory.
