We are also publishing 12 new videos showing different surgical procedures along with new lectures and interviews of experts in the field of laparoscopic gynecology and urology! We are also happy to offer new media recorded live at the IRCAD-EITS to all WeBSurg and EATS members. The media was shot during the last advanced course in NOTES (October 3-4, 2008) and is available on the EATS website: http://www.eats.fr. WeBSurg now has more than 100.000 registered members and provides charge-free educational contents to its members. WeBSurg is a unique opportunity to have your work and Institution broadcasted internationally.
If you wish to send us some videos, please make sure that they meet those audiovisual requirements:
WeBSurg requires videos recorded on digital format, they should be fully edited and dubbed. If there is no voice recording, please provide us with a script. We have a team of professionals who can do the voice over. Also, please provide us with an abstract of the video (5 to 10 lines). The master recording should be provided by mail (it will be returned after processing) or via our FTP servers (contact us). The image and sound quality must be very good and the video should last no more than 15 minutes. If there are no external views of the operating room (ports, position of the patient and the surgical team), photos should be provided.
IMPORTANT:
VHS format, Umatic, MPEG1 are not suitable. Copies are not suitable. Background sound should be minimized, and there should be no music. Videos used for congresses or other training purposes are often not suitable. Videos with low quality image and sound should not be sent to WebSurg as they cannot be adapted.
