New EITS Accreditations by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS)!
Five EITS Advanced Courses in Laparoscopic Urological Surgery have been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
These accreditations concern:
- International Advanced Symposium, Laparoscopic Treatment of Urological Pelvic Cancers: Prostate and Bladder (September 14-16, 2006)
- French-speaking Advanced Course "Cours Avancé en Chirurgie Laparoscopique Urologique : Néphrectomie radicale" (May 12-13, 2006)
- French-speaking Advanced Course "Cours Avancé en Chirurgie Laparoscopique Urologique : Prolapsus" (March 10-11, 2006)
- Intensive Courses in Laparoscopic Urological Surgery (June 12-16, 2006; December 11-15, 2006)
- French-speaking Intensive Course "Cours Intensif en Chirurgie Laparoscopique Urologique (January 16-20, 2006; October 02-06, 2006)

These activities are designated for a certain number of hours of European external CME credits. Consequently, each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent in the respective educational activities.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA).
