The First World Consensus on Transit Bipartition Surgery was hosted at IRCAD France last July, uniting 50 international experts to establish unified global guidelines for this procedure.

The consensus aimed to standardize procedures, define ideal patient selection criteria, outline postoperative care, and evaluate long-term outcomes, and potential complications.
