The EndoTrap device

The novel EndoTrap™ device, an output of the Horizon 2020 project PORSAV, is being clinically trialled at the University Hospital of Strasbourg, France. The EndoTrap™ vacuum technology protects operating room teams from viral (e.g. COVID-19) aerosols and other breath-borne risks.

The trial began on February 22, with the first 2 patients at the Department of Digestive Surgery, Strasbourg University Hospital in France. Prof. Silvana Perretta is the PI in charge there.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 101015941.
