WELCOME TO OUR SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

Dear member,

A friendly welcome to our September 2021 Newsletter.

This month, explore the sequel to our May focus on robotic rectal surgery, more particularly for the treatment of locally advanced rectal cancer.

Discover the sequel to our July's HOW TO, with a didactic video demonstrating a right thoracoscopic McKeown esophagectomy in a patient with a right aortic arch, authored by Dr. Maria Vannucci, a young surgical fellow, proctored by Dr. Bernard Dallemagne, an outstanding pioneer and surgeon in digestive and endocrine surgery at the University Hospital of Strasbourg and IRCAD, also Associate Editor of WebSurg.

This month also features a medley of publications in minimal access (digestive, pediatric, and arthroscopic) surgery with our international network of contributors from Tunisia, France, and Argentina.

Check out our IRCAD course calendar and choose from this wide range of course offerings. Make the most of our educational programs!

We would like to thank you again for your ongoing support. Enjoy WebSurg!

Yours faithfully,

Take our e-learning modules (ELMs) and earn up to 11 European CME credits (ECMECs)!

A series of WebSurg e-learning modules (ELMs) in laparoscopic general surgery (inguinal hernia repair surgery, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy) have been accredited by the EUMS-EACCME (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). Some of these e-learning modules are part of the Hernia Basecamp available on WebSurg.

This ensures the recognition of the credits acquired via the platform, at a European level. Agreements with the “American Medical Association” (AMA) allow to convert the ECMEC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. This accreditation certifies the educational content’s quality and the relevance of the surgical content.
