Welcome to our May Newsletter

Dear member,

A friendly welcome to our May 2021 Newsletter.

This month, we are glad to bring you the sequel to our focus on robotic colorectal surgery released in April.

After the stepwise description of a robotic right colectomy, Prof. G Spinoglio (Program Chief of Robotic Colorectal and Digestive Surgery and Education, Candiolo Cancer Institute, Turin, Italy) outlines a "How to" presentation on robotic TME for rectal cancer. In parallel, our IRCAD team in Strasbourg is delighted to demonstrate their version of this procedure, with a video enhanced by many didactic illustrations to help better understand the anatomy.

This month also features a medley of publications in general and digestive surgery submitted by our ever-increasing network of experts from Mexico, Italy, United Kingdom, and Uruguay.

Check out our IRCAD course calendar and choose from this wide range of course offerings!

Make the most of our educational programs!

Jacques Marescaux

Yours faithfully,
